Those of you who get The Vegan magazine will have noticed the new Network Contacts map in the back of it. An interactive web version will shortly appear, (the VS staff already have access to it) but first we need to sort out the what personnal details we can display on the web. Once its out there it will be the best guide to groups and local contacts so far, and will be the place to me listed.

To get on the map you just need to become a network contact. To do that have a read of this: http://www.lcat.makessense.co.uk/faq#70

LVW (www.lvw.makessense.co.uk) sites are fully intergerated into the mapping system so there's little for those site owners to do once registered. Other groups will need to supply a few details, such as events and descriptions.

Fuller details will follow soon(ish).

It has probably been asked before....but are there any local vegan/vegetarian groups - I feel like a small boat floating in an omni sea and need some veggie friends:) By local I mean Lewes, Seaford, Eastbourne. Brighton might be a bit far but i could go there at a push if there is parking!

i tried to get involved with a couple of veggie groups in East Sussex but the organisers told me they don't really do anything any more. it's strange but there don't seem to be many active groups round here - there are animal rights groups but not so much on the veggie get-together side of things. or maybe i just don't know the right people...

The Vegan Harlow website doesn't exist anymore - it hadn't been updated in years and I never had any reply to emails sent there or to the email address for the VS contact who was the site owner - and now the domain name has expired. I would try to sort out something but I'm only here for 7 more weeks! Then I can see if there's a Vegan Brisbane guide ;)
