i like mixed pepper grains (black, white, green and red), freshly crushed.
i like bay leaves, oregano, sweet pimiento, garlic and saffron.
dill is also great.
but in general, i think i could use every spice and make something worth of a wow, cause they are all so good...

Oregano! Because it's the only one the slugs don't eat.
I love cilantro too (that's coriander leaf isn't it?) and basil. I add them to salads, stews and stir fries, mostly.

Fresh dill is my favourite on potatoes but I also like parsley. I always use basil and oregano in spaghetti bolognaise, otherwise I like everything plain.

It depends on the purpose. For cooking, I'm a huge fan of basil, cilantro, and rosemary. Dill and parsley are also good. Mint is fantastic in tabouleh, smoothies, and drinks.
For medicinal purposes, I can't live without lemon balm and tea tree. Chamomile and mints are also great for the amateur herbalist.
Cheers,

For whatever reason, I used to hate cilantro... but I've been using it recently and enjoying it.
I also like fresh ginger, cayenne pepper, and garlic (preferably fresh).
Cinnamon is also always a favorite.
Cumin

It has to be oregano as I use piles of it in Italian and Mexican dishes. In fact I buy it 4 to 1 against all my other herbs :D
Also - like jamboxrock, I love Rosemary on roasted veg. So sweet !

Definitely BASIL. I love it and all the different pestos you can make are great. Tomato and black olive salad with basil...mmhh..
This is the first year that I have managed to grow a good supply because it got hidden underneath some kind of courgette and I couldn't use it all too quickly. If I had an imaginary lover then I think he might be called Basil.

I am now loving rosemary. It is wonderful with pan-fried potatoes.
I also use basil all the time, especially when I make my own pesto. It grows like crazy in my garden.

I HATE fresh coriander (cilantro). And I'm not the only one:

The perception of the taste is thought to have something to do with genetics.

it depends. The cilantro I grow myself never survives beyond its teen state and doesn't taste as soapy as the older herbs- I love that, but storebought is disgusting to me.

Hm, I've also heard that cilantro haters can start to actually like it with practise. But I'm really not bothered to try.

I like spices and herbs that are a little sweet, such as basil and cinnamon and cardamon. I love Indian cuisine and I always have tandoori mix and curry powder in my kitchen cupboard. And in my pantry there are always jars of cooking sauces and curry pastes. I discovered a Moroccan one that was vegan in one of the supermarkets here. Nowadays I eat thyme, which I did not like before. My father-in-law once brought us parsley and basil for our garden, but the snails ate most of the basil, so in order to safe the parsley I gave it to the guinea pigs. They are the perfect pets for us: when we have leftover fresh herbs, I try them on the animals (if they can eat it, of course).
The things that I chose were Cardamom, Paprika (powder), Ground Ginger, Fresh Ginger, Cumin, Fresh Garlic, Fresh Basil, Fresh Parsley, Sage, Vanilla, Dried mint leaves, Fresh mint leaves, Tandoori Masala (Indian spice mix), Star Anis, Galangal. I also love dill, but it was not on the list. :)
