What are your favorite herbs / spices ?

A spice not on the list is mango powder, also known as amchur or amchoor - I bought some a few months ago and haven't managed to use it yet - it is supposed to be a bit sour as it is made from unripe mango, but not as sour as tamarind which I do like.

I often put lots of different herbs in my food. I recently stocked up on tumeric and cumin seeds. Tumeric is supposed to help prevent cancer.

I believe the unmentionable herb also has anti-cancer properties :)

Looooooove Cumin! Fresh garlic, fresh & dried parsley. I love cilantro in rice but not on salads.

I wish I could start planting my own garden of herbs soon, read it on books, sounds very interesting XD. but I guess I have to figure out how exactly to have a vegan and eco-friendly garden first :D

Herbs and spices are fun, I am enjoying gradually growing my collection :)

At the moment I am using alot of smoked paprika. I also love cumin and put it in nearly everything!

One of these days I will look through my spice collection and post what I have lurking around ;)
