I bought a copy of 'Healthy', the H&B mag today..never bought one before..in amongst the ads for miracle tea bags and spa break weekend offers, there was this recipe for chocolatey biscuits. The pic looks nice and shows a few tied up with silvery string, could be good to bake with the kids and give as little christmas presents to their friends or gran or someone who appreciates biscuits (and that's usually everyone) :D

Makes 15

75g plain chocolate, grated
50g chopped dried apricots
25g rolled oats
75g gluten free flour
50g soya dairy free spread
50g caster sugar

1) preheat the oven to No 4/180 degrees c/350 degrees f

2) whizz up 50g of the choc, the apricots and the oats in a blender til finely chopped. Add the flour, soya spread and sugar then whizz it up again.Add 1 tbsp cold water and knead into a soft dough.

3)Roll onto a surface between 2 sheets of baking parchment till 1cm thick. Using a star cutter cut out 15 stars and pop onto a baking tray.

4) Bake for about 15-20 mins till golden. Pop onto a wire rack, let cool.
Can melt the remaining chocolate and drizzle over them. tie them into stacks of 4 or 5..with ribbony thread or whatever
