This (http://www.slate.com/features/greenchallenge/) (http://www.slate.com/features/greenchallenge/) is something I found just a bit ago and decided to join in on. After doing a quick search, I didn't find any threads with "slate" mentioned, so I was wondering if anyone was else was going to be joining in? It's a nice idea, and they do take into consideration that veganism affects your impact on the environment.

I've got 17,000 as my score...it's below average for my country (44,000). But then, I rarely drive and I have only flown twice in my life along with not consuming animal products. :D

I got about the same

It irritated me that they didn't have a "I don't have a dishwasher" option.

:o I have no idea what our electricity rates are or even what kind of oil we use to heat our house. :o So I didn't complete the quiz. They should make one for teens and kids who live with their parents and do not know these things.

The approximations helped me. We run our AC when it's hot, but not all the time, a person could go around in a t-shirt but they'd be a bit chilly, etc. (In fact, I'm in a t-shirt right now due to just working out. Otherwise I'd be freezing since I'm in the basement! :p )

But I don't know what kind of oil we use.

Heh, that is a problem. Ask your parents, I suppose?
