The 2nd show of "Erik's Diner" on the 11th features an unlikely story about kids at a farm. Plus, there's an introduction to the role of fat in the diet.

The show yesterday starts with a couple of news stories about the beef industry; one about the poisoning of prairie dogs, and the other about the sequencing of the cattle genome. It then builds on yesterday's introduction to dietary fat. Concluding by talking about "mystery butter" and the art of shopping for delicious, inexpensive food.

Just in case you haven't caught the show yet, Erik talks about tofu and bone implants, and PETA's new investigation of brutal practices at an Iowa kosher slaughterhouse in the latest show.

Maybe Erik is a veganforumer ?
