Award-winning chocolate maker The Booja-Booja Company is giving ice-cream a run for its money.

‘Stuff in a Tub’ has the creamy sumptuousness of quality ice cream while being totally organic, vegetarian and vegan and free of wheat and gluten.

The stuff comes in five tempting sounding flavours, including ‘Hunky Punky Chocolate’, ‘Coconut Hullabaloo’ and ‘Feisty Ginger’.

Ooooh, thanks for this. I'll ask my local heathfood shop if they'll consider stocking it, they're often on the look out for new products .

I've received a reply already!...

Thanks for getting in touch and I'm delighted to tell you that yes, what
you've read is indeed true, we are about to launch our new 'Stuff in a Tub'
which is a vegan alternative to ice cream that tastes better than the real
thing!

The bad news is that it's not quite in the shops yet. We're launching it to
the trade next month and then there it will begin to be distributed
gradually but I'm afraid I don't have details yet about who exactly will be
selling it. I suggest you drop us a line again in a couple of months time
and hopefully then we'll have a few more details for you.

Thanks again for your interest... your patience will be rewarded when you
taste it as I'm confident you'll love it!

why do vegan ice creams always have to have such silly names? sounds like it's gonna be expensive too :p (sorry to be negative!)

Don't brands like Ben & Jerry's and the ice creams in the US have weird names too?

I can't wait to try these, I hope they are in the shops for the summer.

i don't know about US brands, but i do remember my ex eating some Ben & Jerry's flavours with really dumb names, good point Marrers. ;)

I haven't tasted it yet. I've ordered it at my local healthfood shop and they said they'd contact me when it came in. I'm looking forward to trying it.

I've just emailed them again to ask if they have a date for it's general release. (Sounds like a film!!)
