Vegan in the Dolomites

Just thought I'd bump this forum up a bit :D

We've booked our holiday in the Dolomites, near Belluno. The hotel has a vegetarian menu (which can be veganised) and they take dogs :) I can't wait :cool: So I'll let you know how it goes...

That sounds great, fiamma. We had a holiday in the Dolomites when I was small and it was the most beautiful place. Can't remember anything about the food :)

They use a lot of dairy products, and sneak "speck", a kind of smoked ham, into everything :D But the girl who runs this hotel has been vegetarian for ten years, so I'm feeling very hopeful... I love the Dolomites, such beautiful mountains.
