I want to make a thread dedicated to those people who is victims in this sometimes cruel world.

Children all over the world who is abandoned and lives a life with not much love.

Children who prostitutes themselfs, steals and begs to manage to survive.

Children who use drugs to forget about their misery life.

I think its important that we keep those in mind because its important to help them!

Here is one of the many organizations that manage to reach out to those children. I have joined it and its warms my heart to know that not much money manages to provide home and a family to the one child I support.

Here are some information of how a life of a child living on the streets can be:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Street_children :

Most of Brazil's street children expect to be killed before they are 18.

Estimates on the numbers of Brazilian street children vary from 200,000 to 8 million.

In one recent survey in Sao Paulo 609 children were found to be sleeping on the streets. At least 50 were under 12 and unaccompanied by adult relations.

http://hrw.org/children/street.htm :

Few advocates speak up for these children, and few street children have family members or concerned individuals willing and able to intervene on their behalf.

I also think more people should consider to adopt a child. Because there are so few who does and so many children left on the streets. There are estimated numbers that there are 250 million homeless children today.

I agree, and many more people would if our government wouldn't create so much red tape in doing so. Its so sad that so many people are desperate to have children but can't and then theres all the homeless children in need of a loving home :(

The way some children are abandoned to fight for survival on the streets is a crime against humanity and it's difficult to believe that it's still be happening in the twenty first century. Here are a few charities that help street kids:

These children need our help every bit as much as the animals do.

I think I'd rather adopt and help some of these kids who don't have anyone.
