Hullo all,
was given this today and don't quite know what to do with it 0.o
Any ideas?

Thats one of my favorite vegetables :)
You could chop it up and add it to vegetables soup, potato mash or fry it together with potatoes, tofu and a spice mixture.

It's a mooli, or giant radish. You can slice it or grate it and have it in a salad.
I know about them because one of my friends at university was traumatised when a greengrocer brandished one at her in a lewd manner. :eek:

at beer festivals in Bavaria they are spiral-cut on a gizmo that makes them looks like a long accordion and sprinkled liberally with salt.

When I used to get an organic box of fruit and veg delivered I had one of those in the box.
I thought it was a carrot that was very pale for some reason, shame! :o
I just chopped it up and put it in vegetable soup. It wasn't that big though.
