those speculaas look yummy kitteh - you know i now need the recipe...i have gf flour waiting.....
Here you go: http://www.joyofbaking.com/Speculaas.html (http://www.joyofbaking.com/Speculaas.html) They are really nice, but they might need more spice in them. I used brown rice flour, brown sugar and Nuttelex instead of butter.
Where's the gravy?
The yellow liquid on top of the potatoes, it's a bit hard to see. It's onion mushroom cravy thickened w/ corn flour. I don't know how ppl get it dark brown w/out adding colouring. We were going to use a packet gravy that happens to be vegan but it looked disgusting and had no flavour.

All we ask is that you graduate £25k in the red
God, you're lucky, the food at my uni is terrible. And certainly not vegan. However the fees are only £1,700 a yr

Jambox, that all looks great! I've enjoyed seeing everyone's vegan Thanksgiving meals!
And we used to import Speculaas cookies, they're vegan I think but I wanted to make them gluten free. These ones are thicker than the ones we used to import but I think it's the spices that makes them!

Looking good Kitteh and Jambox!
A couple of weeks ago, I made this delicious Delicata & Macaroni Casserole, and served it with chilli green beans.

Kitteh........are the cupcakes homemade?
If so how did you get the marzipan inside them?
Am I being stupid do you just put it in and then bake them like normal or is there some other method?
