i didn't make the lo mein, but could prob get recipe to you later.

just now found lima bean recipe here (http://livinginthekitchenwithpuppies.blogspot.com/2009/01/vegan-night-for-baby.html).
It seems complicated, but I just used a can of regular lima beans that i had in the cupboard instead of messing with soaking and cooking the dried ones. didn't use bay leaves or mint (didn't have any) and I also did not bake it... just simmered a little longer to thicken. It was really tasty anyway... and easy.

Loving this thread so many new things to try everyone's food looks amazing, also cheers for the nice comments on the Balti folks :0), we could easily write the vegan forum cookbook between us. Raise money to keep the forum going !

JBR - I love your meal with the bbq tempeh, mushies and the baked potato, yum-oh!

And I just made the Strawberry Shortcakes from the Babycakes cookbook, they turned out so well with the sugar-free icing and fresh strawberries :)
