Me and my gf went to Brighton at the weekend and had the fajihita platter at The George. It was so yum and halfway through I thought," omg I must show the guys on VF!" So that's what you get! I didn't however have that thought with the bannana split because that was long gone before I could even think to get my phone out hehe!

yum!
Yum... you took a photo of what I had for dinner tonight!
How funny! Where is the George? The only veggie resturant i've been to was in kingston, surrey.
Witchymagic you have quite a collection of food pics. I liked the look of your veggie chilli...mmmmmmmmmm, yum!
I'm hoping to make toad in the hole tonight..getting into making vegan food from scratch. I often eat pasta and am getting abit bored of that. Question then.... is this what you should do then to make life easier/ more varied is to cook from scratch?

The george truly is "da bomb". You should come along to Brighton when we have another meet!
My tip for easy "from scratch" cooking is: plan ahead! I always get stressed out and just have chips or toast if I haven'tplanned ahead and left enough time.

cheers bryzee86 for the tip. This week i did make a list of recipes i was going to try and bought all the ingredients for. Here is the apple crumble i made last night and gave to my carnivorous housemates and they said they really liked it. One said she was surprised because it was vegan:D That did the job then!! I do apologise for my terrible presentation skills...i got to excited when it cooked and plopped it in the bowl...
