We decided to have bake sales on a more regular basis after participating in the Worldwide Vegan Bake Sale. We held out first last Saturday and raised $1152.75 for NSW Animal Rescue!

My absolute favorite thing to do is bake all day by myself and dance around the kitchen to all different kinds of music, at least twice a week.

Having said that, I recently moved in with my sister in manhattan nyc and she has the most teenytinyitybity kitchen ever. Like even for manhattan. There is (I wish I had a ruler so I could take a picture of it sitting on the counter) like 7 inches of couter space TOTAL. If I put a dinner plate on the counter it touches the stove and the sink at the same time.

I'm going through baking withdraws, big time.

jambox, that looks good, but... can you eat all of those tomatoes in one sitting? I like tomatoes if it's just like one or two of those small ones. But whenever I get a salad with too many tomatoes, I start to feel really bad and have to stop eating them. I don't know if it's the taste or what...

I make vcon inspired quinoa salad all the time for dinner now, with whatever I have laying in the fridge (instead of blk bean and mango). Big Fan.

What's the secret in the risotto???
