I love the ice cream at the Greenhouse, last time I went though I was ill and couldn't taste much, though I could taste the icecream, I think I had three flavours.
I think we should all go to the Greenhouse. Caz and I have never been!

Kitteh- fair warning. I'm moving to NZ in May and my first order of business is hounding you for an invite over. I'll expect cupcakes. :p
That is great news! An NZ vegan has just moved to Sydney, you can come over and we'll have a pot luck!
:p no fair you're moving close to kitteh!
It would be great if we all lived near each other :)

I feel a bit sick after eating these this morning... My bf brought them in today for a late V day surprise. We had just split them in half and were about to eat them when I remembered to take a pic. greasy yumness from a vegan bakery (http://www.ecobellabakery.com/Home_Page.php)here.

Looks divine and beautifully photographed too.
I've use Rose Elliot's chocolate torte recipe (from Vegan Feasts (http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-listing/0722533837/ref=dp_olp_used?ie=UTF8&qid=1266750006&sr=8-2&condition=used)) for the past 12 years as a quick, easy and impressive dessert for dinner parties. I've got some white choc drops I'm not keen on so thanks for the idea of making a white choc version.

Ingredients
Gram flour
Water
Salt
Black pepper
Chopped onion
Chopped boiled new potatoes
Chopped mushrooms
Chopped tomatoes
Method
1. Fry the chopped potatoes in a little oil until they start to brown
2. Add the onions and mushrooms and continue to fry
3. Add water to the gram flour, salt and pepper and mix well to make a pasty gloop.
4. Add the tomatoes and fry for a couple of minutes
5. Pour the batter over everything else and fry until it sets
6. Flip it over preferably without making a huge mess and fry for a little longer
7. Slather in ketchup or beans and scof.
