It's the easiest pasta sauce to make :)
Boil red lentils with bullion, pepper, ginger and turmeric. When the lentils are done it should have the consistensy of porridge. Add bostongurka (I don't know the international name for it), soya cream and the cheapest tomato sauce you can find.
Ps. jamboxrock: Delicious looking, as usual :)

Looks yummy, I'll try it out. :) I'm guessing bostongurka is the same as boston agurkmix in Norway, a kind of cucumber pickle relish?

WOW! How good does this food look! You folks clearly haven't heard that vegan food is dull and full of lentils!
Hope some of you don't mind if I PM you for a recipe ... I've GOT to try some of these dishes.

Hmm. I don't think that will work since it needs the sour (almost like vinegar) taste of bostongurka. It also contains sugar which adds taste.

i've seen a cucumber relish in jars that looks very much like that.
those cranberry bars look yummy jambox - well, it all does really :rolleyes:
