In the first photo, I thought it was a heaping of melted grated cheese and beans surrounded by mashed potato :o However seeing the rest of the photos, I feel like I'd like to have a slice of that cake! :)

Extremely easy to make, and incredibly good and healthy!!!

Black beans, corn, onion, green pepper, tomato and tex mex seasoning in a whole wheat pita, with baby carrots and cucumber on the side.
Ah simplicity. That was a good lunch.

Wild White Strawberries from Chile.
According to my cousins, all strawberries originate from Chile, they were originally white. These strawberries are delicious, and sweeter, and softer than the red ones commercially availble. However, they go "bad" really really quick, and aren't suitable for travel. If you go to Chile, you can get some! It's worth the ticket!

That looks DELICIOUS! I love pasta.

Although, I'd eat like 5 or 6 of those helpings before desert. Are you on a diet?

I've been wanting to make a Tuno casserole! Looks great.

Just had this for lunch:

http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c241/jamboxrock/food/9-4-07friedrice002.jpg

veggie & sesame fried rice, steamed baby bok choy & edamame

I don't make fried rice very often (only when I happen to have rice leftover from Chinese takeout, which is rare), but I dare say this was my best so far.

I can't believe I've only just discovered this thread but I'm only too happy to admit I've spent the whole day ooh-ing and ahh-ing over each and every pic all day!!:D

Seriously, ALL of you people appear to be the most wonderful cooks....EVER.. If you all banded together to open a restaurant I think I would seriously move to the States once and for all.

Question: If I come and eat at your heavenly establishment every single day (which I would) do you think I'd sooner or later qualify for special "customer loyality" benefits such as extra slices of Pumkin Pie?....Please?...No, really, pleeeeaaase?!:p

Mmmmm Aphrodite, if I liked olives I would definitely eat that :)

Those dishes are really cute. Do you know where they're from?

I think they were from a really cheap shop here in the UK - "Wilkinson's". I think they were about £1-2 a plate/bowl.:o
I think they are quite nice though - nothing wrong with economising.:D

Just to reiterate, I really WILL come and eat at this co-op restaurant that I've dreamt up in my head, EVERYDAY...if you're all kind enough to open it...But having now seen the UK's efforts too, praps I won't have an excuse to move? Every single person on here appears to be an absolute star chef!

Yum, yum, yum, YUM!!
