Roxy what is creamed corn and how do you make it? I love sweetcorn and what you have on your plate looks yummy!

I guess the best way to describe it, is partially puréed corn. It's really popular here. Some people make it, but you can buy it in a tin at any grocery store (which is what I did).

Mostly, I love it on toast, with salt & pepper.

I don't think you will find it in a can here to be honest...probably would have found it already:D

As for toast...well don't get me started on that hehehe!

ooo what a coincidence, as i have just bought some today!!!

iv been looking for it for ages as i want to make chinese sweetcorn soup, and we dont have it in our normal supermarkets. its not very common in england at all!

managed to find some today at an international food shop... yay! only 60p for the can too!

i read the ingredients on the tin and it was pretty much just sweetcorn, water, starch and salt... not too fancy

Definitely. And he is the worst kind of non-vegan you could imagine, doesn't eat ANY fruit or veg, and his cooking is restricted to pressing a microwave button  All he eats are ready-made meals. I might have to cook a really nice vegan dinner for him. :D
