I suppose it depends on when the capitalists in each country think they have a slot to maximise profit most...

Thanks PSX :)

Cedar, when I was little, in Australia, we called those Chocolate Crackles. They were an all time favourite at our house!

Your lunch looks delicious too :)

Here's what I had for lunch today:

It's a Smoothie! Organic Strawberries, Organic Banana and Crushed Ice.

Those crispies your daughter made look wonderful, Cedarblue! I love those
cupcake/muffin cups, as well. And your lunch.

Edit: I didn't notice this new page of posts. That smoothie looks so good! Exactly what I'd like right now, unfortunately I just ate all my strawberries...

Thanks girls :)

Haha Cedar! The orange is for a salsa I'm going to make, as is the mango that's kind of hiding there, the onion was for the gazpacho today and the banana, well yes, that will be for tomorrow's smoothie :)

Here's a pic of the raw gazpacho I made today. I put chunks of avocado in a bowl and poured the soup over it.

I hope you properly praised the seitan, emzy?
:D

Um if you call worshipping it and telling it how amazingly good it tastes as I'm shoving it in my gob, properly praising then yes I did.

I'm a real fan of raw food and smoothies at the moment. Finding myself eating more and more and more....:D

Cedar - those rice crispie cakes look good. I haven't had them since I was a kid. What wholegrain cereals would be good with that? I quit the refined stuff. Do rice crispies or corn flakes do a wholegrain version?

cedarblue

i would say there was no wholegrain equivalent. i figured that i don't eat much refined stuff and she made the effort to make them so i enjoyed them! maybe you could use an unrefined museli, or make your own, with the choc?

Emzy, there is a multi-grain cornflake available made by Kelloggs (not the best company I know), or some brown rice puffs (http://www.twenga.co.uk/offer/128756770.html) - not sure if you could get them or something like them from your local health food shop, the kids have made chocolate nests before at school using shredded wheat (again, Nestle is a crap company) but maybe a supermarket or something does an own brand version:confused:

Poison Ivy - Thanks for that! Something I'll try and make for a dinner party me thinks.

Right I've done some checking and the Kellogs Multigrain cornflakes AREN'T vegan but Kelloggs Multigrain Rice Krispies shapes ARE - Sorry for not checking before I posted earlier:o
But they're both still pretty refined - the least refined are probably the brown rice puffs I reckon!:)

Don't tell me...wait...is it milk or honey? HOW RUBBISH! Wholegrain it has got to be for me really. I'll use the rice puffs

Neither!! These are the ingredients for the multigrain cornflakes:
Cereals(Maize{39%}, Brown Rice {30%}, Wholewheat{22%}), Sugar, Barley Malt Flavouring, Salt., Niacin, Iron, Vitamin B6, Riboflavin (B2), Thiamin (B1), Folic Acid, Vitamin B12.

and these are the ingredients for normal cornflakes (which are vegan)
Maize, Sugar, Barley Malt Flavouring, Salt, Glucose-Fructose Syrup, Niacin, Iron, Vitamin B6, Riboflavin (B2), Thiamin (B1), Folic Acid, Vitamin B12.

Which other that the different grains are identical yet Kellogs say only the ordinary cornflakes are vegan....so I don't know what it is!!
