That picture makes my mouth water. Those are the perfect size for my laptop lunchbox! :)

I wonder if the whole tart would fit into a laptop lunch :p

Sluggie, those cookies sound awesome... is there a recipe to share?
And your dinner isn't boring at :) You inspired me to make a tagine tonight.

It's from Vegan Recipes, edited by Nicola Graimes.

Date and Orange Oat cookies

150g soft dark brown sugar
150g vegan margerine
Finely grated rind of 1 orange
150g self-raising wholemeal flour, sifted
1 tsp baking powder
75g oatmeal
75g dried dates, roughly chopped

Preheat oven to 180c/350f/gas 4
Line 2 baking sheets with greaseproof paper.
Beat sugar and margerine together until light and fluffy.
Mix in the orange rind.
Fold in the flour, baking powder and oatmeal.
Add the dates and mix until combined.
Place heaped teaspoonfuls of the mixture onto the baking sheets.
Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden.

Those pickled squashes look good - do they taste like gherkins?

Now I have to hurry up and eat all the date and orange cookies so I can bake some chocolate chip ones. :)

I thought I replied to this earlier, but apparently I am crazy cause I don't see it. The recipe is here (http://http://vegweb.com/index.php?topic=16634.0). I'm thinking I previewed the reply but didn't post. Doh...

No, they don't taste THAT pickly. I'm not sure how manufactured pickles get so pickly. They taste vinegary/briny though, and get a bit crunchy. Next time I'm going to salt and drain them before so they're even crunchier.

I made a green curry on Monday night so I can have it for a few nights now. I used coconut milk, Blue Kitchen's green curry paste, tofu, mushies, red cap, corn, carrot, sugar snap peas and tomato. Served it w/ quinoa:

I really like NutriSoy's tempeh burgers, but not sure what to have w/ them. The only other time I have tempeh is on a take away burger w/ satay sauce, cabbage and salad, what do you guys eat with it?

I took this pic w/ the ppl who hate food touching in mind ;) Tempeh burger, salad, mushies and a dollop of chilli sauce and Plamil mayo on the side:

LOL! Maybe even better still would be to erect small fences made of tooth picks to make sure there was no accidental "co-mingling". he-he ;)
