Looks good, Aradia and Emma.

Farmers market haul - tomatoes, field peas, lamb's quarter (wild spinach), basil & okra.

http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c241/jamboxrock/food%20resized/6-18-08farmersmarket.jpg

And the meal I made - heavily adapted Green-Wa from Yellow Rose Recipes, roasted okra and tomatoes.

Awesome cupcakes, EmmaP and I like your Green-Wa, Erin (I now know what it is!)

And Pinkcharge, that cake looks yummo!

Thanks. It wasn't as spongey as I'd hoped but with a bit of cream on it was lovely.

I need to cook more, I'm a very lazy vegan, my meals are not very adventurous.

I made my first cupcakes (Golden Vanilla), alas half suffered an ill fate due to my ignorance.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v217/inremotepart/greatcupcakedisaster1.jpg

Only six survived!

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v217/inremotepart/vanillacupcake2.jpg

As i scoff the ones that suffered the great cupcake disaster (destroying the evidence!) i need to think how i'll frost the good ones: and i have no idea what nonhydrogenated shortening is.

"Twat" over here in the States refers to the female naughty-parts, as well... we just don't use it as much. We tend to use slang of male genitalia more often (i.e. "dick", etc.) Also, we pronounce it "twahht", like in the word "large".

Eh, enough about that. :P

Erin - I spent about an hour and a half going through your entire blog, just drooling over every dish you created... I need me one of those laptop lunchboxes, for sure!!

sinarei - You, my dear, need to collect all of that creative genius that you've got going on and make a blog for yourself! Your food is like vegan-porn. Looks so scrump-shussssss!! Nom nom nom...

For a second I totally read the comments in the wrong order, and thought you'd put gravy on the top of seiten muffins

G-free pizza base topped w/ pizza sauce, tomatoes, mushies, onion and Tofutti cheese slices, g-free garlic bread on the side

The most awesome g-free, vegan pancakes I've ever had! They are from a mix and I was amazed they were edible let alone awesome. Even my omni bf thought they tasted great. If you have access to the Laucke (http://www.laucke.com.au/Products.htm)bread mix, try them!

confusionisbed - Sorry about your mess, but that's pretty funny. At least the ruined parts were edible?

KTeh, pleased to entertain.

Kitteh - all your food looks delish, especially the last plate with the broccoli & potatoes. I like the mood lighting.

Thanks! I have actually been looking into possibly starting a blog... we will see.

Everyone's food seriously looks so good!

Whole wheat couscous with Ras-el Hanout (spices), sauteed apples and olive oil. This was kind of random and spur of the moment but turned out surprisingly good.

Coconut lime pie with an almond crust, toasted coconut and fresh mango slices

Garam Masala red lentils, roasted cauliflower, chickpea socca (underneath)

http://sinarei.angelfire.com/vegan_food_photoes/Ras-el_hanout.jpg

Barley salad with vine-ripened tomatoes, boston lettuce, apple, and kalamata olives in a zesty garlic-lemon dressing. Simple, but very refreshing on a hot summer day.

Guess who finally went and bought the wonderful book about world domination in the form of small cruelty-free cakes?

Sinarei, that quinoa dish looks delish!

EmmaP, when I was making gingerbread I misread the part that said, if you chill your dough for over an hour leave the dough out to rest for 10-15 mins. My cookies would be soft and mushy and have a cracked appearance. When I leave the dough out on the bench to rest the gingerbread turns out perfectly ;)

Pancakes from last weekend, using the PPK Buckwheat recipe, they were pretty good but I made some even more awesome pancakes yesterday, I will have to upload a pic of them

http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3180/2578262957_06b01a1358.jpg?v=0

Cupcakes for Mum's b'day. The ones on the left are strawberry jam doughnut cupcakes w/ strawberry icing, topped with pink hearts. The ones on the right are gingerbread cupcakes w/ lemony icing, topped w/ yellow flowers. The ones in the middle are choc cupcakes, one w/ strawb and one w/ lemony icing, topped with pink hearts and yellow flowers.

The first loaf of gluten- free bread from our new breadmaker. We ate the crust and binned the dough, when at first you don't succeed and all that jazz :P

A tempeh burger on a gluten free bun from an awesome gluten free bakery. W/ salad and peanut sauce

Kitteh, that looks amazing! YUMMY - I LOOOVE buckwheat pancakes! Did you make that tempeh burger?!?!? If so, please tell me how:D
