Oatbran Milk Recipe (http://members.tripod.com/~iskra/nomilk/omilk1.htm)

I did that recipe yesterday without bananas and vanilla.
I also strained the milk couple of times and after that let it sit and poured it over to new jar without the sediment on the bottom.
BEAUTIFUL

I'm wondering if anyone is doing their own milk as well?

And which one you think is the best?

That's interesting. I wonder how long the homemade version lasts as far as freshness.

I buy oat and rice milk from the store, because I don't take supplements anymore, and the ones I buy have B12 and D2.

today I've made great oat-milk with DRIED COCONUT (I guess you could use coconut milk if you can get that).

I boil few spoons of coconut in a glass of water for 5-10 minutes.
Then I add half cup of oatbran, salt(up to flat tsp) and sugar (few teaspoons) Maple syrup would be even better I suppose. Boil that till oats will start to absorb the water but not till they'll totally fall apart. Then I blend that for few minutes. Add more liquid and pour couple of times through fine sieve. I guess you could use cheese cloth. The idea is to get rid of all pulp. Add more liquid. You should get 1 liter of milk out of that. AT LEAST. It gets quite thick.

I love this with coffee and cinamon.

I haven't got cereals for over a year !!! I'm gonna try that soon.

I wonder what is the nutrition value of that milk.

Damn and it's so cheap ???

THIS RECIPE IS WAY BETTER THAN THE RECIPE I'VE PUT THERE AT THE BEGINNING

ENJOY

I have a soymilk maker (http://www.soyajoy.com/). I occasionally make nut milks. I make a combination of almond/soy milk
