More and more Asian B12 studies are becoming available on internet, and a site dedicated to share translated Japanese studies are in the works.
I learned today that bamboo embryo plants have been thought to contain vitamin 12 in Japan, but this (http://sciencelinks.jp/j-east/article/200409/000020040904A0049347.php) study considered this not to be the case. I haven't come across the assumption that B12 can be found in bamboo shots before, and thought I could contribute to kill that myth before it reached the Western hemisphere.... :)
