Oh man, soya flour can be used for so much. Pancakes, sauce, protein supplement - it can be used instead of cream or milk - you can even make soya milk out of it. I even made icecream from it once, although that wasn't very tasty. There is much more.

Here are some recipes from an old version of Eva Batt's Vegan Cookery I found in the library:

Cheddar-style 'Cheese'
3 1/2 oz (100g) soya flour
1 good teaspoon / to taste yeast extract
4 oz (115g) vegan marg
Nutritional yeast (optional)

Melt marg
Stir in flour and yeast extract
Beat until smooth
Leave to set in the fridge'Cream Cheese'
4oz (115g) soya flour
Yeast extract to taste
2floz (60ml) vegetable oil

Mix all ingredients well
Leave to set
Fresh herbs / nutritional yeast could be used for flavouring
Store in fridge
Use within two daysI've only tried the Cheddar-style and it's interesting... texture is a bit crumbly, colour a bit strange, but goes well with some branston pickle.

Oh, and you can use soya flour (about 1/3 of the flour total) in crumble topping. Makes it taste fab :)

Well, soy flour added to soy milk makes a cheap protein shake. Oh, it makes a great breading. I sometimes fry up tofu by dipping strips of tofu in tomato sauce, then soy flour and then frying. It gets messy, but tastes great.
