I've been searching for an easy vegan cream cheese recipe and I'm having a difficult time finding it. I need something simple that just calls for tofu and seasonings and no nuts. I know how to make and blend tofu, cooking oil, and lemon juice so that it's creamy, but I don't know the seasonings I need in order to make cream cheese. Years ago, I found a recipe that was very good, but I don't remember the ingredients I needed. I seem to remember seeing caraway seeds mentioned, but I may be confusing that with something else. I would never dream of using Tofutti because in addition to the product not being vegan, their products are loaded with sugar and corn syrup, ick, ick, ick, gross, very toxic and unhealthy! :confused::eek: I'm gathering the ingredients I need to make a vegan lasagna from a recipe I'm adapting and 1 of the key ingredients is cream cheese so I need to learn how to make that. Can someone please help me with this? Thank you.
