hi again,
i've been a vegan for almost 30 yrs - the early days were difficult to say the least compared to now ie with regard to the range of vegan food presently available - btw i'm not implying that its (now) easier overall to become a vegan but it does help a little:-)

to my main point, i'm not advertising here but if you want the best 'spicey bean burger 1/4 pounder' you've ever tasted try sainsbury's - believe me i've tried them all.

I'll have to head over to Asda then. The ones I get at Waitrose are pretty good.

sorry aurbergine - **correction** the burgers are sainsbury's - not asda.

have tried tesco's - generally tasteless & dragonfly are ok if stuck - they vacuum pack both together making freezer storage a prob - you also have to thaw out before using.

I've had them, they're good. Can't think of any other spicy beanburgers I've had to compare it to though.
