Hi everyone,

I'll be traveling to New Orleans in April and wanted to know if any of you knew of some vegan or vegan friendly places to eat. I'm also interested in food stores, health food, etc. Basically, places to buy Silk, Clif bars, and other things I might need. I'll be there for about a week, so I need to find as many options as possible. Thanks in advance for your help.

Cheers,

All I know of is the Whole Foods in New Orleans. It's big. The only time I ate there was at this teeny little middle eastern place that had dry, spicy falafels.

I did try Happy Cow and I'll give those other sites a look. Thanks! My bf was there last year and said there is terrific African place that has vegan options. So, that sounds interesting.

We booked yesterday for the end of April! I can't wait! To be in New Orleans during the Jass and Heritage Fest will be a dream come true!
