Does anyone eat really weird food combinations? Post 'em here!

Mine would be:

- mustard on nearly everything -- by itself, on baby spinach, veggies, garbonzo beans, soybeans, etc
- once ate a banana dipped in hummus
- raw tomatoes with sea salt + pepper
- salsa on pasta (hehe no sauce)
- raw cucumber/ zucchini
- blood orange and vanilla soy yogurt

I love Cheezly and jam sandwiches. It sounds horrible but tastes really nice.

Do they have to taste nice? If they don't then Mango chutney and olives tastes like there's a party in your mouth and everyone's throwing up.

Sounds perfectly normal to me!

Peanut butter and Branston Pickle on toast.

I also love to eat pickled onions along with peanuts.
Oh and sometimes peanuts with soup.

i love tomatoes and i ketchup and i used to put them on everything...

chocolate chip cookies with ketchup
chocolate cake with tomato slices on top

i love weird foods, and i used to experiment with odd combinations all the time, but the other ones that i can think of are non-vegan (they're from my pre-vegan days) so i don't know if i should post them here...

i loved it, but i am a crazy tomato freak:D

with the tomatoes on the cake, i thought it was perfect the way the taste of the tomatoes took away from the overwhelming sweetness of the cake...they also added a refreshing taste to the cake.

How about a crisp bread with organic peanut butter, blackberry jam, seasame seeds, and nori seaweed on top of all of it... Yum!

The man says you should try Dicken's Cider.

I've had bananas dipped in dried basil. Also will take a baked potato (especially a sweet potato) with peanut butter, white potato with pb and salsa. Nori and Jelly? You are a sick freak!

haha those are pretty weird, but I would try a few of them!

Well, one of mine last night was avocado and rolled oats. I was drunk and wanted something that doesn't take long to make, so I put some oats in the micro and cut up an avocado. It was okay... probably wouldn't do it again, but it was decent. Probably the first person to eat an avocado whilst drunk, too.

I just ate way too many spelt pretzels with vegan sour cream. so tasty though! Also, I've been known to put chocolate peanutbutter on rye bread.

the pb, jelly, and nori sounds interesting, and so does the potato with pb and salsa...i might give those a try if i have all the ingredients one day.

a couple of others, i've had:
-bread with peanut butter and fruit flavored yogurt
-baby carrots dipped in chocolate flavored peanut butter

tomato sauce with everything....but that's not too weird I guess.

my weird food combos 1. would be quinoa- which I sometimes eat for breakfast together with soy milk, dates and maple syrup, I really love it
2.peanut butter and yeast extract together is surpringly good
3. I make the weirdest salads where I just put anything and everything in, like spinach leaves, cucumber, dried dates, dried apricots, pineapple chunks etc- pretty good!

that's all I can think of for now!:)

I remember my favorite was really really wholesome bread(the kind you put on the bottom of the grocery bag to avoid smashing your other items!)with vanilla ice cream in the middle.

??? Why destroy a perfectly good cookie? But.... I guess this is a weird combo thread. You get my vote!

Back when I was a poor student, I would eat pasta with just ketchup and salt. It was super cheap :P
