Before I was vegan, I used to like yorkie raisin and biscuit bars. Last night I tried making a substitute with vegan chocolate, mixed with sultanas and broken biscuit.
It was a lot nicer than it deserved to be given the slapdash way I made it.

I crushed the biscuits by hand and added the sultanas. I then melted the chocolate separately using the boiling water technique. When the chocolate was melted I took the bowl containing it out of the pot with the water and mixed the biscuit/sultana mixture into the chocolate. Finally I spread the mixture over some of that silicone reusable greaseproof paper, and left it to set.
That's probably an over-detailed description, but never mind.

I used to like coconut chocolate when I was younger. I'm going to mix in some shredded coconut as well as the sultanas and biscuits next time.
