Maple Syrup Recipes!!!

Hello all!
Was wondering if you friendly people would be so nice as to post your favorite recipes containing maple syrup!
It seems I've become very patriotic and simply can't get enough of its fantastic flavour.

To be honest, my favourite recipe containing maple syrup is something I eat every day. I am an absolute fiend when it comes to maple syrup--other than vanilla, it is my most favourite flavour. So, to tell you the truth, my maple recipe is none other than oatmeal, really. I just make myself regular oatmeal (President's Choice organic brand, yessir!) with soy milk instead of water, add about 2 tsp. of maple syrup as sweetener, and add all sorts of fun stuff like blueberries, a banana, flax seeds, cinnamon, and hemp seeds (when I can afford them).

I also know a great recipe for maple cupcakes: it's in the marvelous cookbook Vegan Cupcakes Take Over the World by Isa Chandra Moskowitz. Do check it out. You should also look into buying maple extract; this way, you can add a whole lot of pure maple goodness to baked goods, even where vanilla extract is used.

I was a maple addict until I discovered agave which is even yummier. I put it in cupcakes and on pancakes.

Ooh, the ginger cupcakes from VCTOW have it in and they are awesome.
Never tried the maple cakes from that same book.. bet they are yum too.
The stuff is really expensive in the UK though. o.O

Not really a recipe but when I make oatmeal or other hot cereals on the stove, I add maple syrup to it while it's cooking. It's much tastier than just pouring some on after it's cooked.

i often slart a little bit into a stir fry towards the end..so it goes sticky..it's very nice :)

I do the oatmeal-maple thing also! With cinnamon and a bit of nutmeg it reminds me of christmas! Has anyone ever had the maple candy that they make (usually in Quebec) by pouring the maple syrup over clean, fresh snow and then rolling it up on a stick??? It's actually SO good!

Can anyone be very kind and post the recipe for those maple muffins??? University fees are coming up soon and they don't carry that book at my library :(

Yep, maple syrup is definately a perk of living in Canada!

Is Agave more or less expensive than maple syrup?
