So here's the rub-I have no money and no food. I also cannot cook. I'm trying to think of something that will feed two people. If anyone is up to the challenge, here is what I have in the house (seriously).
-Box of elbow mac
-8 oz Hunt's tomato sauce
-15 oz whole kernel corn
-Flour
-Whole flax seed
-Hardly a cup of rice
-Sugar
-Various hot sauces
-Veggie bouillion
-Onion

That sounds OK - you could
* boil some of the pasta
* fry (or boil if you must!) the sliced onion
* dump the corn in the pasta water at the last minute to warm it up
* drain pasta and corn, and mix it with your tomato sauce, onion and some hot sauce to spice it up.
A bit low on vegetables but otherwise a perfectly acceptable meal :)

I don't see that you have many other options, except I suppose to use rice instead of pasta to make a kind of corn pilaf.
Enjoy, anyway! And let us know how it turns out :D

Yeah, I lost my job a few days ago and I have one paycheck to make work, so I've chosen to forgo food in order to have gas to get to places I can apply. We have no public transportation here. :(

Oh dear :( I hope you land another job soon.
Don't starve as it won't help - have you got any relatives or friends there who could give you a temporary hand?

Yes, I'm blessed to have family members who support me, but I refuse to ask for money from anyone. We'll definitely manage. Thank you for caring, :)

Great to see a result!
Good luck with job-hunting. Meantime, have you looked at the various threads here about feeding yourself at low cost? If not, click "cheap living" in the tag cloud on the forum front page.
I would ask for help if you need it though - I'd hate to think of a relative of mine going without food for want of a few pence/cents (though it wouldn't do some of them any harm for a bit, come to think of it  )

^ haha. That's true, but there's a difference between needing some extra cash on account of having a job and having to stretch expenses and whatnot, and not having a job at all.
I dunno. I just need to swallow my pride I suppose. :P But thanks also for telling me about the cheap living thing on the forum-that oughta help out a lot!
