100. "Be the change you want to see in the world" - Mohandas K. Gandhi

"Pigs are more intelligent than any dog, the extent of their intelligence is still unmeasured, but we know they can handle video games."

Oh really? I'd like to see a pig take me on at Super Mario Kart. :p

102. When you have a sore throat as a vegan, it's not as bad as an omni's or lacto-veg's since dairy products make you phelgm-y
102. Your farts don't stink like rotten flesh
103. Your skin generally glows with more health

Because every animal I've ever met is so much sweeter than most of the humans I know so why would I want to torture and/or kill them?

You can outfart your friends, the food is a million times better than anything from an animal, and because i know there is no way in hell i'd ever be able to hurt, let alone kill, any kind of animal.

Because there's 100's of reason to be vegan and not a single good reason to support the torture of animals and destruction of our only planet (unless you're an ignorant ass who thinks using it as a way to make money or the idea that "it tastes good" are good reasons)

41. If I couldn't kill something myself (which I couldn't kill any animal intentionally) then I shouldn't eat it.

Exactly, it is a matter of integrity.

106: because you may have the chance to help someone else become vegan one day, in turn saving even more animals in the world.

I just read a little news item that might do the trick for a meat-eater on the brink:

"Snouts, ears, tongues, tendons, and blood vessels - all are legitimate ingredients in respectable meat pie." This is from the Australian consumer magazine 'Choice' which goes on to say that after testing 23 national brands that are supposed to contain 25 percent meat, including from goat, buffalo, hare, camel, three popular brands failed. The Choice spokesman, Norm Crothers, warned: "If you thought the major ingredient was meat, you're in for a disappointment".

Have good health, avoid disease and premature death, enjoy the time I have by being in better health.

Be kinder to animals, stopping being the cause of suffering in both animals and greedily taking up more resources than necessary being one cause of hunger in other nations.

111) because i love animals passionately (eww not bestiality, just friendship and respect...sicko lol)and feel it is ethically impossible for me to justify their torture and unnatural deaths.

112)because its so great for your health (see peta.com or goveg.com)

113)because as a wiccan i believe in "an it harm none"

114)because i'm getting a wider range of foods now than ever before and most of it is low in fat, especially saturated fat!

115)because im neurotic about food and love having an extra excuse to obsessivly check food labels

116)clean conscience, clean food, cleaner way of life

117)because i give a s*it about this world, my earth, my animal friends and friends i've yet to meet, and my health

118)because it's the ONLY ethical diet i could ever have

119)because i'm addicted to vegan chocolate and soy shakes...mmmm strawberry...

I don't know if I said this before but it is a matter of integrity. If you wouldn't kill the animal yourself then why pay someone else to do it?

all of the reasons at 'animalspirit.com' were very valid reasons but one really jumped off the page which most vegans are aware of but so worthy to think of again, great affirmation:

"Tragically, some 80% of the world's hungry children live in countries with actual food surpluses, much of which is in the form of feed fed to animals which will be consumed by only the well-to-do consumers"
