Hello gluten-free and gluten-low people - please can you give me some suggestions for biscuits and other snack foods which are readily available from supermarkets in the UK and would be suitable to serve to a gluten-free vegan as part of a coffee break.

Obviously not stuff like hummus or fruit or crisps - I am smart enough to realise those could be ok :satisfied: - it's more like branded biscuits etc which you would be pleased if someone organising a meeting had arranged for you.

UK only - and I'm not going to be making anything.

Tesco do some gluten-free biscuits in their Free From range which are vegan (shortbread for example). Sainsburys used to do a good range but apparently they've phased those out now.

A Gluten free coffee break never tasted this good! ;)

Should be in Sainsbury's. Failing that, Holland and Barrett's if you have one nearby?

Oh no, Gwyd! The pics are little red x's... and you've really piqued my curiousity!

oh noes. Are they still little red x's for you?

Anyway, it's the Doves Farm (http://www.dovesfarm.co.uk/listing.html?categoryId=127) (if you hadn't looked into them already) brand. Both the Lemon and the Hazelnut ones being Gluten Free...

and Vegan of coarse ;)

Thanks for the replies everyone - went for the Doves Farm loveliness, which was much appreciated by the delegate, and so enjoyed by everyone else, that they are now a regular feature of meetings at work - so there's always biscuits I can scoff now. Hooray - or not.
