making vegan "sausage" patties?

I recently bought some vegan "sausage patties" in the store that were actually pretty good. I don't usually like mock-meats not just because of the processing but also because of the price. However it'd be nice to have something like that for a nice Sunday breakfast with my family sometimes.

Anyone know of a way to make something like these? I can't remember the brand, MorningStar maybe?
