does anyone have a good tried and tested recipe?

I tried one from vegweb but it was...not nice =(

I don't have an actual recipe but I sometimes make it with a mixture of spinach and Cheezly fake cheese (either the feta style or the mozzarella, it doesn't seem to make any difference) inside. I just mix the cooked spinach with chopped-up cheese and add some oregano.

Not sure if you can get that kind of fake cheese where you are, but any kind that melts a bit would probably be OK.

I hope you'll like it then! It's rather a long time since I had authentic spanakopita.

The feta kind of Cheezly is hard to find - if they still make it? - but I imagine any of the melting varieties would be fine; I'm not sure there is really much difference in flavour between them.
