but then I found out that frozen brownies taste real good!

This quote is epic! It find this hilarious. Awe, well you made an honest attempt at cutting down and reducing temptation. I can be pretty bad at fighting temptation when it comes to yummy vegan treats! I am a SUCKER for dried fruit. It is suppose to be healthier than baked stuff....but it is so fillingg and sooo high in caloriess.....I feel dreadful after overeating dried fruit!

Lunch: thin crust, cheeseless jalapeno pizza with mushrooms, papaya spear, green tea, coffee.
Snack: Banana oatmeal treats with raisins & sesame
Dinner: TVP taco "meat", rice vegan cheddar cheese, FYH gourmet nacho cheese, 4 baked corn tortillas, salsa, baked extrafirm tofu
Dessert: pumpkin "pie", 3 pitted figs, 1 papaya spear, 2 cherry slices, 3 treats, water

horrible heartburn & dead sleepy!

Brunch: Porridge with Cinnamon Swirl peanut butter & almond chocolate dessert, apple, pear
Dinner: Sandwich: Chikin, orange & cranberry stuffing, mayo. Black forest trifle, another pear and apple
Snacks: Booja raspberry truffles, sweets
Drinks: Water, coffee, Christmas coffee, tea, ribena, soya latte

Breakfast: Toast w/baked beans & veggie sausages. Strawberry, vanilla & peanut butter smoothie.
Snack: Blackcurrant yogurt
Dinner: Two slices of leftover vegetable & cheezly pizza. Roasted turnip, purple carrot, parsnip & kale w/houmous
Snack: Plain yogurt w/frozen banana, raspberry & chocolate spread

Drinks: Water, green tea

Breakfast: pearled barley with 6-grain hot cereal, pumpkin puree, coffee
snack: oatmeal, banana, raisin veg treats (3), pumpkin puree, 2 pitted figs
Lunch: marinated baked tofu with jalapeno, 3 tvp tacos with fyh and rice cheese on corn tortillas, baked tortilla chips (homemade)
Snack: 3 veg treats, pumpkin puree, 4 pitted figs, coffee
Day is not over yet, but I hope I'm done eating. I am so uncomfortably full. Too bad I hurt myself yesterday. No running for at least a day or two. (possibly more). Ugh.

Lunch: Vegourmet and Onion sandwich, Alpro vanilla yogurt, pear, lolly
Dinner: Wholewheat pasta with mushrooms, onions. soya chikin & noochy sauce. Outback animals cookies
Snacks: Apple, pear, plum, satsuma
Drinks: Water, coffee, tea, ribena, wine, soya latte

Ohhh is this mug brownie one of those cool single-serve ones? That sounds yummy! I just purchased sugarfree rasperry preserves sweetened with stevia/truvia to make chocolate-raspberry mug brownie tomorrow! I am EXCITED!
I am so addicted to this organic coffee from a local farmers market & a bit of vanilla silk creamer! YUM.

Lunch: Edamame, kidney beans, chickpeas, peppers, carrots, & water chestnuts over Hard Red Winter Wheat Berries with chili garlic sauce, siracha & a boca vegan patty with rice cheddar cheese
Dinner: 100 cal single serve mug brownie with 2 tbsp sugarfree strawberry preserves sweetened with stevia.

Drinks: Water, coffee, iced tea.

Dinner: Cold Veganomicon Cholent with wholewheat bread, cold veg and a Nakd chocolate orange bar
Snacks: Peanuts, baked crisps with nutritional yeast
Drinks: Soya latte, water, coffee, lots of mint tea

Afternoon snack: brownie & soy milk, melbe toast with sugarfree blueberry jelly
Dinner: Kidney beans, good vegan wiener, boca patty, rice cheese, jalapeno soy cheese, melba toast wheat, brown rice

Yesterday :

Breakfast - toast with marmite, cup of cherry blossom white tea
Snack - punnet of raspberries (yep the lot, whoops!!)
Lunch - brown pasta with mushrooms, peppers and sweetcorn with a tomato sauce, 2 pears, bottle of water
Snack - orange, 2 squares dark chocolate, green tea with mango,
Dinner - spicy lentils and kidney beans on brown rice, 2 homemade cookies, 2 glasses of water

Dinner: brown rice, kidney beans, boca patty, good wiener, vegan gourmet cheese, lettuce, salsa, paprika, soy sauce
Dessert: single serve 100 cal brownie & purealmond chocolate milk

Yeah I made half the recipie and then froze some but then I found out that frozen brownies taste real good!

THAT should be the quote of the day! Priceless! :lol:

Alas, I had no brownies today. :faint_smilie: But I DID have cocoa crack!

B- homemade wheat bread w/ apple "butter"
L-huge raw veggie mixed salad w/homemade French dressing and soy bacon bits, homemade whole wheat garlic croutons (always do this when the hm bread is getting stale from lack of preservatives - yay!)
D-veggie soup (kitchen sink soup---everything from the fridge but the kitchen sink---leftovers in veggie broth), crackers, and a glass of wine
Snacks--croutons (can. not. walk. away. from. them. lol), cocoa crack (cocoa, coconut, coconut oil, vanilla, raw sugar--all melted together and then frozen)

amethyst wanders away, swooning at the thought of raiding the freezer for one more bite........

Yeah, I learned to make them when I lived in an apartment w/ no oven! Now I make them when I'm in the mood for a quick something chocolatey. I used frozen raspberries, never thought of jam! And I agree that vanilla and coffee just seem to go together!

Blueberries, I couldn't agree more! Vanilla and coffee are just the best! Can't wait to have some tomorrow morning! I had been denying myself pastries because I know that if I make a whole batch...it won't be there the next day. So the single serve brownie is the best. It's a tablespoon of every ingredient and then microwaved for a minute or so. It's the best! Breakfast: Green Smoothie (4 strawberries, cup of fresh spinach, cinnamon, light vanilla silk soy milk) Lunch: Kellogg's Protein Plus cereal with raisins and light chocolate silk soy milk Afternoon Snack: Pumpkin Pie Green Smoothie (cup of fresh spinach, pumpkin puree, vanilla soy milk, stevia, cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice, nutmeg) Dinner: (this is where I messed up) Edamame salad with bowtie pasta & tomato, vegan pizza w/o cheese, melba toast wheat (as croutons) Dessert: single serve chocolate brownie with raisins and oats (pumpkin puree topping)

Breakfast: Oats and Wheatbran cooked in soya milk with raisons and strawberries with cinnamon
Lunch: Shredded iceberg lettuce, grated carrot and tomato stuffed into a pitta bread with houmous
Snack: Mixed berry Trek bar, 2 apples
Dinner: Shredded iceberg lettuce, grated carrot and cold potato curry with 'pizza' flavoured tofu, and a few chip-shop chips!
Snack: Square of dark chocolate

Brunch= bean burritos w/ lettuce, tomatoes, salsa, and onions
Dinner= will be watercress, chive, and non-dairy cream cheese on a baguette (I found the nicest watercress at the market a little while ago. So excited!)
Snacks=none so far...running errands all day...probably dip into that cocoa crack again...it is lurking in my freezer, daring me to visit...I can hear it whispering....
