I think I must have tried Rice Dream a LONG time ago. I really don't remember??? I know I liked it but now Soy Delicious is the ice cream of choice.

Yesterday:

scone (I don't know what kind it was but it had these big soft pieces of dried fruit & was delicious)
2 clementines
few crackers with mock chicken salad
fries w/ cheese sauce
marinated pepper, onion, tomato slices
shredded brussel sprouts, cranberry, walnut salad
1/2 slice bread w/spicy garlic hummus
shepherds pie (ground faux beef, creamed corn, niblet corn, peas, cheese, mashed potatoes)
chocolate chip cookies
tortilla chips dipped in spicy garlic hummus
teas (pomegranate superfruit green, vanilla nut creme, orange-vanilla rooibos, black decaf, mayan cocoa spice)

They don't have any of the icecream bars, just small tubs of the stuff. I'll have to buy some next time I'm out :p I'm trying to avoid too many soy products aswell as I don't know who to believe with the health effects. I save my soy intake for those Tofurky sausages :D

I don't know why I thought I had 3 weeks. We're leaving in 2 weeks and 2 days. I don't know what kind of shape I'll be shifted into by then, but hopefully one that can squeeze into my summer clothes from last year!

menu for today:
green tea x 2
5 or 6 blackberries
leftover brown rice and kale made into a soup with a little marigold powder, Tbsp Sriracha, Tbsp nutritional yeast, tsp sesame oil and Tbsp chopped walnuts.
several mugs of hot water with lemon and black strap molasses
soup (onions, garlic, aminos, water) with chinese cabbage and shitakes
seaweed salad (seaweed, soy sauce, rice vinegar, agave, sesame oil, scallions, ginger, sesame seeds)
tempeh on Ezekiel with kraut and thousand island
pureed turnips
steamed collards

You have more willpower than me. I'm fixing to put some french fries in the oven and melt cheeze sauce over them. Sadly, I think I've ceased to care what I actually look like.....hahaha.

LMAO!!! Sorry but I can't keep quiet about cheeze fries. I never ever had them until a few days ago.....I've led a life of deprivation....haha. So I am making up for lost time. At least that's how I'm rationalizing it.

I'm thinking of going to this store early next week. It's a good thing it's like 9 hours away from me or my awesome diet would have never lasted :p

B - Two hot cross buns with jam
L - Jacket potato with baked beans and hummus/ice cream and a half a banana
D - Jacket potato with Innocent Peri Peri veg pot

Not a very imaginative day for food! The veg pot was delicious though, especially discounted to 40p!

Tapioca pudding made with soy milk and coconut milk.
Black coffee.
Apple.
Marzipan bar with chocolate.

Dinner:
"Salad" of lupini, potatoes, olives, capers and sun-dried tomatoes.
Chard and leeks sauteed with olive oil and tamari.
3 oranges

more potatoes, carrots, parsely, cabbage, thyme, red onions, wild rice, all amde into an amazing soup.

Today: 2 cups of soup at work-lots of coffee . Grr.
Dinner-some salad, curried beans and broccoli with stock and spices, popadums, a chunk of home made bread that I only half ate. Trying to diet craving carbs.

Where did you get your hot cross buns? I adore them but the bakery ones at work don't list their ingredients. :)

Today, I've had:
B - soya yoghurt and some peanuts lol.
L - Thai yellow curry made with mange tout, baby corn and onions with jasmine rice.

todays menu:

green tea x 2
a dozen blackberries
brown rice with acorn squash, a scallion, sesame oil, Braggs liquid aminos, nutritional yeast, onion powder, and a few walnuts.
hot water with lemon and blackstrap molasses x 2
soup (water, garlic, aminos, chili flakes) with chinese cabbage and shitakes.
2 Tbs seaweed salad <-- I hate sea veg, but they're so healthy!
1/2 c seasoned chili beans (canned)
whole wheat farfalle with alfredo sauce (tofu, soy milk, marg, cooking wine, onion and garlic powder, s&p, nutmeg, arrowroot)
whole lotta steamed broccoli

B: homemade 50/50 white/wholemeal bread, toasted with marmalade
L: Disappointing veggie burger, even more disappointing "bakewell tart" which was totally tasteless dry cake and virtually devoid of jam and I ended up chucking most of :( so then I had a sos roll instead and a couple of lychees
Afternoon snack: Pink Lady apple and several handfuls of Fru Grains (has anyone else tried these? They're nice :)) and a small piece of raw chocolate.

No idea what to have for dinner. I really fancy deep fried mini spring rolls, but that's not exactly healthy and also I don't have any so would have to go out for them.

Dinner : Homemade veggie stew
Snack : cherries (fresh) Cup of tea
Tea : probs more stew cos its so nice :)

one pint diet coke.

Too much, it seems, as my bid to lose a pound a week has come unstuck. I must learn that all though I am no longer eating anything naughty I can't simply eat as much as I want!

bowl of whole corn grits with smart balance marg and liquid aminos
miso soup with leeks and tofu
boiled kale with rice vinegar
10 cherries

2 slices pickled daikon radish
millet with seasoned beans
roasted butternut squash
hot water with molasses and lemon

miso soup
baked tofu sandwich (Ezekiel toast, vegenaise, carmelized onion)
glass of carrot/grape juice

red bean mochi
