RubyDuby - is the hot water with molasses and lemon because you like it, or for iron or dieting? And does it taste any good? :)

I could go for some mochi right now. I wonder if the Chinese supermarket has any vegan ones...?

I'm dieting for a couple of weeks, but mostly I'm just trying to get enough potassium so I don't cramp up when exercising. It didn't taste very good at first, but it really is starting too!
Most of the Mochi I've seen at our Asian market are vegan, other than the milk mochi of course. The ingredients in these: red bean paste (red bean, maltose, sugar, soybean oil), maltose, sugar, glutinous rice powder, potato powder, sorbic acid.

Just had some of my chocolate Rice Dream icecream. Maybe not worth the $9, but it's definitely good :)

Yeah :( It costs so much more for cruelty free food. Going to have to go fruitarian soon if I can't find a job :p

★1,5 liter green juice(cucumber/lemon)

All carbed up and ready for today!

grapegirl, with all the fruit you're eating (24 bananas in a day!) I can only believe that your digestive system is "industrial strength"!!lol Are you training for running ultra-marathons?

Glad you've joined us by the way.

Hi grapegirl :) That sounds like an awful lot of sugar - is that how you eat every day? And if so do you consider it a balanced diet? Sorry if I sound critical - it's not my intention at all.. I'm genuinely curious, also because I love fruit and eat a lot of it too :)

Best wishes :)

Wasn't meant to be nasty, but you have to admit that is an awful lot of fruit to eat in a day for a human!

Then why not say that? Accusing someone of being an ape or a troll is pretty rude.

She's probably a fruitatarian, not a troll. :p

umeboshi plum
green tea and teecino
miso soup with leeks and tofu
whole corn grits with Smart Balance and salt
steamed kale
cherries and walnuts
carrot juice
barley soup with garlic, onions and shitakes

just got surprised with vegan baked goods during lunch time. :)
cheese cake filled brownie, heart shaped sugar cookie and chocolate donut with pink frosting.
all shared of course. ;)

dinner will be at an Ethiopian restaurant:
greens, risotto and lentils.
and wine.

soy boy ravioli with sauce
gimme lean meatballs
corn w/ earth balance, parsley, garlic
tomato-olive foccacia dipped in olive oil

B: multigrain crackers, coffee, orange juice
L: Falafel, salad and hummous cob, cauliflower tomato and carrot pasty, cup of hot vegetable broth.
Afternoon: HUGE chocolate covered flapjack which had all sorts of seeds and dried fruit and desicated coconut in. The local wholefood shop has started doing them and they are good. Probably about a thousand calories though. I meant to just eat a third but carried on eating.
D:. Oven fries and ketchup. Yes, I really am that lazy.

It may be the first time you have ever heard of people who eat so much but yes, it has been scientifically researched and proven too. In South-Africa Essie Honniball's books have just been released in 2010 after many years of research by top universities. (Google it at Benedic Boeke)

Also Google The 80/10/10 Diet by Dr Graham.

Fruit sugar is not the same as refined sugar. Fruits cure diabetes. Many testimonies. View the low fat raw vegan community where athletes thrive on this lifestyle~ see many before and afters. www.30bananasaday.com

I will apologise to Grapegirl if I offended you in anyway. It just that in the past on another forum we had a Troll that had a very similar list of what they supposely ate, and I got suspicious. As humans are part of the ape family I don't know how that is offensive.

Fruits cure diabetes

I haven't read the testimonials, but I live with a Type I diabetic, and know a Type 2 diabetic who now has Type I diabetes.

Fruits do not cure diabetes; studies have shown that a vegan diet is beneficial for and can even reverse the effects of Type 2 diabetes. However both Type I and 2 diabetics have to limit their sugar intake, whether this sugar comes from fruit or from other sources.

Well, you will be surprised to read Dr Grahams book, he has helped many patients. It is the most beneficial way of healing. xxx
