I will apologise to Grapegirl if I offended you in anyway. It just that in the past on another forum we had a Troll that had a very similar list of what they supposely ate, and I got suspicious. As humans are part of the ape family I don't know how that is offensive.

I do not believe in evolution, therefore I do not believe that we are part of the ape family, but humans that are superior to animals.

Well, next time please be more tactful, I also did put my blog link in my signature at the bottom of each post, why did you not check it out before you offended me.

Please check out my blog and make sure that I am a real person.

First completely vegan day of my life :)

I've bought some tofutti mozzarella style cheese today (we don't have the Daiya brand here) which I am going to make mini pizza's with, and some tofutti cream cheese which I'll turn into a dip with mango and chillies.

I also bought some soy milk and soy cream, which I'll make potatoes au gratin with, and tomorrow pancakes. Also eggfree mayo. I'm really curious!

List for today:

B: Bread with fruit sprinkles, strawberry soy milk, grapes.

S: Some dried prunes (YUM!)

L: Home made vegan mini pizza's (whole wheat pita topped with tomato, garlic, tofutti mozzarella style, olives , herbs, hot sauce and onion), lemon soda

S: Whole wheat crackers with hummus dip and toffuti cream cheese flavored with mango puree and chilli

D: Potato gratin (made with soy cream and milk), salad with dates, cucumber, grapes, lemon juice and olive oil. and a lentil stick.

Going vegan doesn't seem bad at all! Good food, tasty and healthy. Yum! <3

That sounds delicious, Sidhariel! :)

Thank you :) I think it does help that I'm a creative cook and love cooking, so going vegan is actually a fun challenge for me. And it seems I am nowhere limited in my creativity :)

I think veganism makes people more creative, and the misconception that vegans only eat lettuce and tomatoes really couldn't be further from the truth.
I'm convinced that if you took a random sample of vegans and a random sample of non-vegans, the former would have a more varied diet.

6am: bucket of strong black coffee with 1/2 pint of soya milk chaser. Two apples (reluctantly).
11am: tablespoon of apple cider vinegar in a pint of water. Peanut butter on two slices of toast.
1pm: Two oranges. Juice of 1 lemon in a pint of water. 4 oat meal ryvita with marmite.
3pm: Main meal of the day - tofu and vegetable stir fry (see pictures thread for photo and ingredients).
6pm: Banana.

Copious amounts of water throughout the day. All in an attempt to lose 1lb a week for 3-4 months. Seems to be working, with the odd blip. Calorie intake calculated using http://www.foodfocus.co.uk/index.php

Doesn't seem a lot, but I can't say I ever felt hungry.
