Thanks for the tips! I'm a total sweet food eater, I only eat savory food about twice a day, the rest I make up with sweet stuff... I need to stop this! Much more sugar than is good! But... I have just found out that Co-Op Jam donuts are vegan (AFAIK)!

Swedish Glace Soya Ice Cream from Tesco will help get those calories up, maybe with some Jammie Dodgers and Jelly Tots.

I had been eating super-duper healthy in the days leading up to my band's performances, since I sing better when I don't eat crap. But yesterday was post-show celebration food! :)

Breakfast: oatmeal with banana, cacao, mesquite, cinnamon and almond butter (I have this all the time)

Lunch: We went out to a pub that has vegan veggie burgers, served alongside a mountain of fries. Heaven.

Supper: After our lunch we felt like we needed vegetables, so we made a simple stir-fry over rice that we topped with two salsas (a conventional one and a fresh mango one).

Snack: almond butter and chocolate chips with soy milk! Best snack ever! :)

Jamaican Spiced Tea with Soya milk

What's this Jamaican Spiced Tea? I used to buy a tea called Jamaican Roast then they changed the name to DeCaffe Roast and then they discontinued it. I have one box I've been hoarding for a while. It was an herbal tea that was supposed to be a coffee substitute made by Yogi Tea.

May 30th, 2011, 07:05 PM
Its the Yogi one, we still get it in England, I bought it from a shop in Liverpool called Mattas (http://www.mattas.co.uk/tea/jamaica-roasted-spice)

May 30th, 2011, 07:24 PM
I have NEVER been more jealous of the things you can get in the UK that we can't. I checked that site and it doesn't look like they ship to the US. But I found Goodnessdirect and they have the tea as well. I think they ship here. Thank you SO much for the info :)
