I think I should add something else to my list of what I ate yesterday:

10 packets of dairy free white buttons
5 yoghurts

I lost one of my rats yesterday and food seemed to be the only comfort :(

Needless to say, I am not very hungry today at all so my food so far has been:

An apple :confused:

Sorry to hear about your rat TofuMonkey :(, losing an companion animal is always hard and my heart goes out to you :(

Today

Breakfast: Porridge with almond milk, mixed nuts/dried fruit and stewed apple

Dinner: Pasta, beans and mixed vegetables in a tahini/pesto/cheezly sauce

Snack: Banana and two date/strawberry bars with some marmalade

Toast before swimming

Breakfast: Pear, Mango, Chocolate Orange Nakd Bar

Lunch: Bread with Redwood "Gourmet" Mushroom pate (Waste of money), Strawberry & Banana Alpro yogurt, apple

Dinner: Burnt potatoes, Big Bratwurst with fried mushrooms & onions, Ketchup, Mustard and Salad
Chocolate custard

jumbo veggie dog on ww bun w/ onions, cheeze, relish, ketchup, mustard
potato salad
bbq "beef" chunks, onions, mushrooms, broccoli, cauliflower, string beans in bbq sauce
jasmine rice
2 mini spring rolls w/ sauce
twilight candy bar
teas (kava stress relief, chai green w/ very vanilla soymilk, cinnamon apple mate, sugarplum spice)

Yesterday:

Breakfast: An apple (still struggling from all of those yoghurts the night before)

Lunch: Spinach, rocket, tomato, cucumber, red onion and mushroom salad topped with sundried tomato marinated tofu

Yoghurt
Punnet of blueberries

Dinner: Tomato and basil soul with whole wheat bread for dippin'

Punnet of strawberries and an orange

Breakfast: All Bran with soya milk

Lunch: Redwoods fish steak sandwich with salad, houmous and brown sauce

Dinner: Mixed plate of sliced seitan, salad, avocados, onions, the remaining Redwoods fish (I didn't want to play a game of 'how long will this last once opened', I rarely win), blue corn-meal cakes and leftover tahini pasta/beans.

Dessert: Lemon sorbet

Snack: Mixed nuts/dried fruit

Drinks: Water, soya latte, tonic water

Hehe, I always thought it was funny that there were men's and women's herbal teas. What happens if you drink the wrong one? :p

It took me a minute to get that 'Food should taste good' is a brand!
I read it as: '... eaten with food, should taste good, multi-grain chips'

Hehe, I always thought it was funny that there were men's and women's herbal teas. What happens if you drink the wrong one? :p

I think they just made the mens one so that we dont feel left out (Its nice and warming and when I do a late shift at work I have to spend 50 mins at cold dark train stations at night - I bring a cup of this with me and it makes it a bit better).

I have the urge to try the womens tea now, I will post if I get any unusual side effects like changing my name to Mandy.

B: homemade roll, toasted with homemade almond butter and (shop bought) morello cherry jam. Orange juice, half a cup of coffee.
L: Chocolate peanut brownie, dried fruit and mixed nuts :o
Afternoon snack: One Divine dark chocolate mini egg, about 10 jelly bean eggs and a dried fig.
D: Big salad to make up for lunch! Cucumber, tomatoes, yellow pepper and roasted herby chickpeas with a live yoghurt and mustard dressing, and dry baked croutons. Multivitamin. May have some fresh pineapple in a bit too.

B: soy yogurt with berry granola and a banana

L: soy "turkey" sandwich on multi grain bread with avocado, veganaise, lettuce, tomato, onion and mustard (yum)
blueberries
carrot sticks

Snack: spinach and kale salad with a bit of oil and vinegar

D: stir fry with carrots, onions, mushrooms, bok choy, broccoli and tofu over quinoa.

Snack: pear

today so far:

olive chips with hummus
green glory juice- apple cider, pineapple, celery, spinach, wheatgrass
israeli couscous, steamed greens, bhartha
big salad- spinach, romaine, spring greens, broccoli, mushrooms, sesame seeds, almonds, bbq tofu, herb tofu and ranch dressing

we're thinking about going to a vegan ice cream social later. They promise brownie sundaes :D
