Cake or Pie?

As great as cake is, its nowhere near as filling, satisfying or versatile as a pie. A pie can be sweet or savory. A savory cake would be strange.

If it's vegan food, I'll eat it - though I have to say, give me savoury over sweet any day.

Pie... because you can fit a lot more fruit/veg in a pie than in a cake.

Made a 'fruit that looks like it's going a bit too soft to eat' pie last night, with apples & pears. Then I threw in some chopped walnuts, dried fruit, spices and a little dusting of sugar. Was lovely.

Still have loads left over.... though it is calling me.

edit: If savoury pies weren't included though, I'd go with cake, as sweet pies just make me think of soggy pastry. I prefer biscuit bases or crumbles.
