Figured I would put this in the America sub forum since I couldn't spot a better place for gardening.
This isn't really gardening though, I'm too busy for all that - but I was wondering if anyone has tried to plant a raspberry bush into an overgrown ivy patch and it happened to take root, just trying to clean up the edges of a lawn or something.
I have this huge patch of ivy near the forest line behind my house, and some wild raspberries in other parts of my neighborhood I could track down and dig up and move. I wouldn't want the raspberries to take over other parts of the yard, so does anyone have any experience with this, or at the very least, a similar attempt at frisky and persistent weed-type plants?
