The latest catalogue from ZipVit (http://www.zipvit.co.uk) has just arrived with the post and they're now offering glucosamine tablets that are suitable for vegetarians and vegans at a sensible price.

I've already asked them to consider making more of their products vegan friendly (eg non-gelatine capsules) so let's hope they have more to offer us over the coming months.

Glucosamine is a key ingredient in cartilage. As we get older or if we are hard on our joints, this cartilage wears out. Taking glucosamine can help repair/construct cartilage. I take Deva glucosamine with MSM and CMO. It's good but not cheap!

Edit...lots of info here...

Glucosamine and MSM are brilliant for athiritis and any other joint problems but you need the 3, 6 and 9 oils to make them work better. I get my 3's which you need double the amount of from flax and the 6 and 9's from pumpkin. MSM and these oils are also great for the lungs.
