If having turned vegan your fiber (roughage you may call it, I'm not sure) intake has increased, which is quite common, then one can expect their digestive tract to flow more quickly hence your body may be asking for more food at a faster pace than is usual to you. At least that's how I think it works.

^ Yes.

It all depends on what you eat now, and what you ate before.

I've *always* eaten A LOT. Like really a lot. I *think* I ate more as a vegan, but I just eat and eat and it always worked on keeping hunger away. Eating. ;)

This is probably dependent on how much you eat of the kind that's known to make you feel full... If you eg. have a very reduced protein intake now compared with before you went vegan, you may feel hungry faster now.

give it time and you're stomach will shrink and you'll not get so hungry so often.

If you don't know about the idea of the "glycaemic load" you might want to look it up - basically some types of food are processed faster than others by the body so you can get hungry sooner. If you include protein and some healthy fat, as well as carbohydrates, in meals they will tend to keep you going longer. So for example if you eat fruit as a snack you could have a few (unsalted) nuts as well.
