Cabbage parcels... how can I make an alternative dip?

I saw this (http://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/database/savoycabbageparcels_93406.shtml) recipe on tv this morning. I was really surprised to see a vegan recipe, but then they made the dip with natural yogurt. What can I do to make a nice accompaniment for the cabbage parcels, which incidentally the presenter really enjoyed!

Can't you just use Vegan yoghurt instead?

Or vegan sour cream ::)
