Howdo everybody.
Maybe you can help me out.

The missus has decided she wants to make me some kind of Sweet Hamper for Xmas, but has no idea (as nor do I as I generally don't have that much of a sweet tooth) what kind of sweets/chocolate would be suitable for a Vegan.
She would prefer seperately wrapped sweets, and preferably easy to source from Supermarkets, local shops or shopping centres if possible.

So, is there anyone out there who can offer some advice at all?

Thanks in advance.
VJ.

I just did a blog post on vegan sweeties relating to the ones I gave out at halloween:

There are even more out there though. Check Holland and Barrett and the 'Free From' allergy sections of supermarkets, plus a lot of dark chocolate, like Divine fairtrade, is suitable. And Frys chocolate/ frys peppermint creams. And bendicks bittermints, bitteroranges and bittergingers. And starburst.

Hope that helped.

It does help out (especially your blog - buzzing to see that FOX'S GLACIER FRUITS are vegan friendly, I can dig them!), thank you.

I did actually email Fox's the other day to find out whether their Glacier Mints and Fruits are suitable, but am still waiting for them to reply.

Cheers again.

Oh well if they're not it's news to me!! I can get confused from time to time thinking that someone told me something was vegan when they didn't, but if you hear something different from the company let me know!!

Last time I looked they'd changed the recipe and foxes fruits weren't vegan any more. Didn't realise they were Nestle either :(
