Seedless fruit

Are (non-organic) seedless fruit genetically modified?

I always wondered how they got the "seeds out" of grapes and oranges. Are they GMO?

I'm just curious. I really should be buying organic fruits and veggies but I can't afford it, and my mother who buys most of our groceries really has no interest in buying organic (and not a lot of money either).

I'm thinking it's just the variety of grape grown.

But I'm sure someone with more information can answer in better detail.
