View Full Version : Water temperature when extracting milk from nuts/seeds

Do you use hot or cold water when extracting milk from nuts or seeds? I guess it could be argued that hot water would extract more nutrients (the way you get stronger tea at high brewing temperatures) but heat could also potentially destroy some good stuff, like essential fatty acids.

Thoughts? Experiences?
