Suffolk/North Essex border

I have just joined this forum, looking forwards to chatting with fellow vegans.
I live in a village 30 mins from Cambridge/ 20 Mins from Saffron Walden right on the Suffolk/Essex border.

Can't wait to find out what is on in the area.

Hello Mand, and welcome. I guess Cambridge is reasonably vegan-friendly isn't it? I quite like that Rainbow (?) restaurant though it seems slightly variable - perhaps not surprising as I only ever go about every 2 years :o

Hi Mand and welcome to the forum. I lived in Ely for a year and I found the whole area pretty unvegan friendly. I thought it was pretty surprising that there was only one vegetarian place in Cambridge. How are you finding it?

Hi there Mand, I have just joined the forum and stumbled across your post. I live in a small village (Birdbrook) in North Essex on the borders of West Suffolk too :-) Would be great to compare notes about local vegan friendly places to go (a very short list from what I have found!). x
